After graduating in 1995, principal Geary Mansfield gained valuable experience in various architectural offices, including a progressive Florida firm in America, Kenneth Miller Architects PA, where his passion for contemporary design and detailing was fueled.

Since Dwells’ inception, the studio’s focus has been on clean, sophisticated and sustainable design, which meets the client’s requirements – now and into the future. Our studio has produced a number of projects, including a single-family residential home showcased on Top Billing, a pre-eminent South African lifestyle magazine and TV show.

At Dwell Designs we believe that innovative thought and meticulous design, together with the appropriate use of modern technologies, produce timeless and responsible architecture.

Responsible design in architecture incorporates environmental consideration – applying and incorporating any sustainable or renewable technologies that will reduce the carbon footprint of the project.
